Ecommerce Marketplace Manager (Remote) Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Ecommerce Marketplace Manager role holds the responsibility of overseeing and enhancing the sales and performance of our products across Amazon and various e-commerce marketplaces. The core duties encompass the management of product listings, analysis of sales data, and the implementation of strategic marketing and operational initiatives to bolster our presence and ranking on these platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure effective product marketing and sales execution. The incumbent will also play a pivotal role in day-to-day operations, contributing to company growth, meeting sales targets, and expanding market reach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a love for ecommerce to gain invaluable experience transacting on the world's largest online marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and optimize product listings on Amazon, encompassing both FBM and FBA, along with other ecommerce marketplaces. This entails updates to graphics and copy content.

  • Analyze sales data to identify patterns and growth opportunities, aiming to enhance profitability.

  • Devise and execute strategies to boost product visibility and ranking on Amazon and other marketplaces.

  • Collaborate internally to create and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Address Amazon-related issues, collaborating with their seller support team for item setup, brand management, customer service, and fulfillment.

  • Manage and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns and other marketplace marketing initiatives to meet ROAS targets.

  • Provide weekly reports on essential performance indicators, including sales, traffic, content quality, conversion rate, ROI, and overall account health.

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability meets customer demand and maintains inventory turnover and accuracy.

  • Stay abreast of ecommerce trends, marketplace management best practices, and technology advancements to proactively propose performance improvements.

  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Ecommerce and/or online retail experience, with a focus on Amazon and other marketplaces preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and other ecommerce platform management tools is advantageous.

  • Strong multitasking abilities, independent work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

  • Effective interpersonal skills, with prior management experience preferred.

This role embodies a pivotal link between product presence and customer engagement, playing an essential role in driving the company's growth and success within the dynamic landscape of ecommerce marketplaces.
